Haleigh wishes to spend the day at a bakery

Excerpts from Haleigh's Wish Itinerary
Friday, February 15^th: As declared by the mayor of San Francisco today is "Haleigh Day".  This morning you will heading to The Ritz Carlton, San Francisco for your first pastry experience! At 8:30 AM a sedan Rollz Royce will be waiting for you outside of your hotel. Upon arrival to the hotel you will meet Chef Jean-Pierre Dubray and the Pastry Chef for a special day filled with baking.  After your pastry experience is complete you have been invited to have lunch at the Terrace Restaurant, within The Ritz Carlton Hotel.  The day ends at the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company for a very special celebration for you and your family with a true San Francisco treat, a Ghirardelli sundae!!  Chef Tim Grable of the California Culinary Academy will stop by to make you an honorary graduate and give you a medal of distinction! 

Saturday, February 16th:  Another great day awaits you!  This morning you will have your pastry experience at One Market Restaurant! You will be spending the morning with One Market Restaurant’s Pastry Chef, Patti Dellamonica Bauler.  She has a great morning planned for you.  Your time in the kitchen will be complete early this afternoon.  The rest of the afternoon is free for your family to enjoy at your leisure. This evening your driver will pick you and your family up outside of your hotel for dinner at One Market Restaurant. One Market Restaurant is honored to have your family as their special guest.  Your meal is compliments of the restaurant.  Enjoy!  The remainder of the evening is free for you to do as you wish!

Sunday, February 17th:  This  morning a Gray Line Tour Bus will pick you up outside of your hotel for your Deluxe City Tour of San Francisco. The tour will begin at 9:15 AM and will last about 3 hours.  Tour highlights:  Twin Peaks, Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square and Goldlen Gate Bridge.  There will be at least two scheduled stops; Vista Point and the Golden Gate Bridge and Twin Peaks.

Haleigh left San Francisco with chef pants and two official chef jackets with her name of them.  She also got an apron signed by all of the Ritz-Carlton chefs, a Ghirardelli apron and a Make-A-Wish apron.  Chef Patti gave her cooking utensils and Ghirardelli, the sponsor of Haleigh’s wish sent her home with cookbooks and chocolate.
