Volunteer Opportunities

Regional Office Volunteer
Assist the office with various projects such as: bulk mailing, thank you notes, data entry, phones, preparing packets, and other miscellaneous projects.

Wish Granting
Volunteers are an integral part of fulfilling wishes. As a member of a wish team, you will meet with the family, determine the wish and act as a liaison between the Foundation staff and the wish family during the wish process.

Special Events / Fundraising
Plan, organize, or implement successful fund-raising events by working on event committees, take on committee leadership roles, or help out on the event day.

Professional Support 
Assist the Foundation by sharing a specific talent as needed. These may include graphic design on publications, photography at special events, computer support, or scrapbook designs for completed wishes.

Speakers Bureau
Share the magic of the Make-A-Wish Foundation at a variety of functions. After training, we provide the information; and you provide the passion to tell our story to social and professional groups, federal and state employee groups, and student groups, to name a few. 

Employee/Company Groups
Companies that provide volunteer opportunities for employees are growing in numbers and the Make-A-Wish Foundation has various corporate volunteer opportunities creating a win-win situation for our Foundation and the company. Volunteer opportunities can include anything from assisting with a wish, to helping with events, or working in the Make-A-Wish office.
