Wish Stories

Thor is a 16-year-old boy battling Tetrology of Fallot, a congenital heart disease. However, he has not let that slow him down. Thor is a typical kid who has many interests and is always anxious to try new things. Thor’s favorite way to relax is to watch movies and television, especially Sesame Street. When he is not watching movies you can find Thor taking walks or chowing down on his favorite foods, spaghetti and pizza.

When asked to think about his greatest wish, Thor knew right away he wanted to take a vacation to his favorite Florida theme parks.

His wish came true when he and his family were able to spend seven days and six nights at a Florida Theme Park.

Thor has always loved superheroes and was so excited when he was able to meet, get autographs, and pose for pictures with his favorite characters. One of his favorite parts of the trip was being invited with other children to be a flag waver in the finale of a strolling band parade. He also loved the merry-go-round at the park and did not want to stop riding the horses.

The Walt Disney Company provided Thor and his family theme park tickets and other tickets as part of their overall relationship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Thor was able to escape his exhaustive everyday battle and enjoy the trip of a lifetime with his family.
