Northeast Ohio Wishes

Michael may spend countless hours in hospitals and doctor’s offices, but he would rather be in a garage looking under the hood a car. This 18-year-old is taking auto collision classes at the Trumbull County Career and Technical Center and is anxious to start a career in automotive services.

At the age of 17, Michael’s battle with a brain tumor qualified him for a wish with the Make-A-Wish Foundation^®. He knew exactly what he would wish for: to go on a shopping spree for auto mechanics tools.

Michael’s wish came true when he went shopping with his favorite teacher and mentor, Mr. Hess. The two spent countless hours picking out the tools he needs for the auto collision program and to jump start a career in auto mechanics.

This shopping spree gave Michael the chance to spend time in his favorite shops, learn from his mentor and focus on his favorite hobby. It was the perfect reprieve from an exhausting medical routine.
