Northeast Ohio Wishes

Twelve-year-old Winnie loves to shop! Her Cystic Fibrosis requires a lot of medical attention that consumes much of the free time she would rather spend shopping with her friends.

So when asked by her Make-A-Wish^® volunteers “What is your wish?” Winnie quickly shared that she wished to go to a shopper’s paradise - the Mall of America.

After arriving in Minneapolis, Winnie and her family embarked on the mall’s four floors and 400 stores! In addition to shopping, Winnie and her family had a putt-putt contest in the mall.

Winnie and her family went sightseeing around the City of Lakes too.

Winnie and her family had a fabulous time together on her trip. Winnie’s Mall of America shopping spree and trip to Minneapolis took her mind off her illness and made her feel extra special.
