Community Happenings

Knox Hills Project Director, Matt Wilbourn, recently presented a $5,000 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Kentucky Region. The money was donated through the Actus Community Fund from Actus Lend Lease, the private partner of the US Army under the Military Privatized Housing Initiative (MPHI). Knox Hills is the privatized housing community at Fort Knox.

 

The donation check was presented to Dan Koett, executive director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, Kentucky Region. Also attending the event were some very special Knox Hills residents, the Wilcox family. Seven-year-old Breanna is fighting a brave battle against a host of life-threatening neurological conditions. The funds raised will be used to grant Breanna's wish to go to Orlando, Florida theme parks this October
