United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 3047 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky in partnership with Metalsa raised $7539.00 to help children in their area with life-threatening illnesses. The funds were raised through a combination of auction items and a golf scramble. The money that was raised will help go towards 11-year-old Cy’s wish to have a theatre room. Cy was diagnosed with a kidney sarcoma, which is a cancerous tumor that attacks the kidneys. Cy can’t wait to have his wish come true in September.
