The 7th Annual Lambert & Lindsey Make-A-Wish Request-A-Thon sponsored by
Commonwealth Bank & Trust Company raised
$152,687 and achieved its fundraising goal. During the live on-air event held on Thursday, November 19 from 6 a.m. through Friday, November 20 at 6 p.m. at
Westport Village, 102.3 The MAX listeners requested their favorite song for a $25 donation by calling the station or going online to
www.themaxfm.com. Every donor who pledged $25 or more also received the 2009 "Best of Lambert & Lindsey" CD.
“This year’s fundraiser will enable us to grant 25 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions right here in Kentucky and southern Indiana,” remarked Make-A-Wish Executive Director Dan Koett. “I am deeply grateful to our friends at 102.3 The Max--George Lindsey, Lynda Lambert and Aaron Miller whose passion for our mission enabled us to achieve our ambitious fundraising goal.”
