For six-year-old Evan, life has been anything but easy. Diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy at a young age, Evan has been limited to a world where his wheel chair can take him. However, this amazing little boy continues to challenge the boundaries of his condition, naming recess as his favorite subject in school and enjoying baseball, watching Veggie Tales and Toy Story and playing computer games. When volunteers from the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® met with Evan and his family to discuss his one true wish, Evan asked for a backyard pirate ship play set that he could enjoy with his siblings and friends outside.

Evan received his brand new play set which came complete with a captain’s wheel, handicap accessible swing, one level of features to accommodate his wheel chair, a rock wall and much more!

“Thank you so much for all of the work you have put into making Evan’s wish possible! We LOVE it!” said Evan’s mom, Erika.
