2010 Dayton Wish Bowl
Time: Registration begins 11:30am
Event kicks-off 12:00pm
Location: Capri Bowling Lanes, Kettering, Ohio
Lace up your bowling shoes for the 2010 Medical Mutual of Ohio Dayton Wish Bowl! This year’s event will serve as an opportunity for residents of the Dayton area to participate with the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, Central Ohio Region to make wishes come true for local children with life threatening conditions. In addition to bowling, the event will feature entertainment for all ages, food and refreshments, door prizes and awards for the top bowlers and teams. Wish children, wish families, volunteers and special guests will be on hand to help kick-off this year’s event and meet with participants. Corporate teams, individuals, organizations, or schools are invited to participate and are encouraged to sponsor a team or raise donations prior to the event. Learn how to get your chance to bowl with PBA bowler Shannon Pluhowsky!
Shannon has earned three PBA Women's Series titles including back-to-back wins in 2009. She won her first PBA Women Series title in 2007, and was the 2006 USBC Queens champion. She has been a nine-time member of Team USA and four-time member of Junior Team USA winning three straight U.S. Junior Amateur titles and three straight U.S. Amateur titles. She was the 2002 and 2004 QubicaAMF World Cup winner, and led Nebraska to three NCAA titles.
