Five-year-old Cassidy enjoys spending time outside and loves the ocean. Her wish was to go someplace she could spend time at the beach, much different than her Carrollton home. The Make-A-Wish Foundation
® granted her wish by whisking Cassidy and her family by limousine to the airport where they boarded a flight to North Carolina's Outerbanks.
Cassidy enjoyed an ocean-front townhouse in Duck, NC filled with amenities including: spacious rooms with great decks, access to the ocean, a pool, tennis courts and the Soundside dock. She and her family were able to relax on a dune-front deck, just feet away from the surf and sea. Her mom wrote,
"Cassidy definitely enjoyed the beach the most of her wish experience. As soon as we arrived to our house we took her out to the ocean. She began smiling, laughing & babbling. It brought tears to my eyes...This trip is a memory we will cherish forever!"
