For fourteen-year-old Sarah, living with a life-threatening brain tumor has been a challenging experience. While most girls her age are concerned with the latest fashion and celebrity gossip, Sarah spends the majority of her time visiting countless doctors and undergoing radical treatments and surgeries to treat her condition.
After battling the pain and fatigue caused by the brain tumor and the side effects of treatment, Sarah was referred to the Make-A-Wish Foundation by her physician. Sarah knew immediately that a family vacation to Hawaii would be the perfect escape from the daily struggles she and her family faced.

Sarah, her parents and six siblings were able to visit the warm beaches of Hawaii and experience life on the islands for a magical week together.
“A vacation like this was something I thought could only be possible in my dreams, but Make-A-Wish made it come true and I am so thankful that it was an experience I could share with my family. Our memories together from our Hawaiian trip will last a lifetime,” wrote Sarah.
“Thank you for making this all possible.”
