Kentucky Wishes

Though Micah seems like a typical six-year-old, he suffers from a painful liver condition called Biliary Atresia. While fighting the fatigue that plagues him, he also has many doctor’s appointments, hospital stays and medical tests to endure throughout his journey. When Micah was asked by wish volunteers what his special wish is, he responded quickly, “I wish to have my own room that I can relax in”.

Micah is a spunky boy who likes to swim, go to the library, and play at the park. He also likes to play with clay, sidewalk chalk and all types of balls. As most could guess, Micah’s favorite show is Veggie Tales, but the humorous SpongeBob comes in as a close second.

Wish volunteers from the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® had the opportunity to sit down with Micah and get to know the spirited young boy. They immediately knew that his room would best suit him if it was complete with an exuberant Veggie Tales theme! In a matter of weeks, Micah was able to relax and enjoy his new comforting Veggie Tales room with his entire family.
