Indiana Wishes

Ten-year-old Andrew has spent most of his life in an out of the hospital in his battle against mitochondrial disorder, which can cause and array of serious defects in the major development of the body. With the support of family and friends, the Freelandville, Indiana native has grown into a vivacious young boy with a passion for reading Star Wars books and playing his favorite video games!

When asked by Make-A-Wish^® volunteers in October 2008, “If you could have one wish, what would you wish for?”, he knew right away that he wished for a PlayStation3 along with baseball and Star Wars video games. He also wished for new Star Wars books to read.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation staff and volunteers fulfilled Andrew’s wish and threw a Star Wars themed wish party on May 16 to celebrate.

Andrew’s eyes were as big as saucers when he saw the PlayStation3, video games, a big screen TV and a rockin’ video gaming chair fit for a king!
