Kentucky Wishes

“I began turning to different genres of music to ease my fears of cystic fibrosis, and soon discovered a band called Angels and Airwaves. Their music was so uplifting and I listened to it whenever I needed to smile,” said Katlin. Since then, the 18-year-old from Ewing, Kentucky has wanted to meet the band.

Her wish came true in August when she and her family wisked off on an airplane and flown to California for an Angels and Airwaves concert. They had VIP seats for the performance and spent one-on-one time with band members in their tour bus!

Katlin described the experience best when she wrote: “I cannot express my gratitude to the Make-A-Wish Foundation^®; my parents for always supporting me in everything I do; and to Angels and Airwaves, my role models for life, for agreeing to meet me. Many memories were made that I will never forget and my wish came true.”
