Ten-year-old Matthew and his family recently returned from an unforgettable trip Birmingham, Alabama. They were treated like VIPs from limo rides, to a stay at the presidential suite. But the real magic happened when Matthew's wish to meet his idol, WWE SuperStar Rey Mysterio came true. The two spent time together joking around, laughing, and Matthew got several autographs. Then, the family took their ringside seats for the ECW/Smackdown event and Matthew smiled the whole time. After it was over, a crew worker lifted Matthew into the ring where he took the victorious stance.
Matthew battles a Complex Heart Defect and his mom, Julie said Matthew has always been their little fighter, so his wish to meet his idol Rey Mysterio was quite fitting.
