The “Wish upon a Star” gala fundraiser featuring a reverse raffle with a $3,000 grand prize will be held on Friday, September 10 at Holiday Inn Express & Suites – LaMalfa, Heisley Road, Mentor, Ohio, starting at 6:30 p.m. 100% of the net proceeds of the event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana, Northeast Ohio Region to honor the memory of LORI DICARLO BAYER
Family and friends of Lori feel honored to share in her memory the magic a wish experience has for children and their families dealing with life-threatening medical conditions. The “Wish upon a Star’ event will feature a buffet dinner, premium bar, music and dancing, silent and Chinese auctions, sideboards and other contests for fun and exciting prizes.
Tickets, which include a chance to win the $3,000 grand prize, are $125 per couple or $85 per single. A limited number are still available. Tickets for the buffet dinner, premium bar and the opportunity to participate in the auctions and sideboards are available for $55 each. We are also seeking donations from area businesses that will be used as part of the Chinese and silent auctions. Congratulations to Poland North Elementary School for winning the Trophy Challenge! Located in Poland, Ohio, the school was able to grant not just one, but TWO WISHES for children with life-threatening medical conditions! Thank you, Poland North Elementary, for making wishes come true!
