Our annual Walk for Wishes® is back for the 6th year in a row and we are excited to announce that this year’s walk will take place on Saturday June 16, 2011 at 10am in Olander Park, Sylvania, Ohio. Proceeds from the Toledo Walk for Wishes® help grant the wishes of children in the Northwest Ohio Region. This year’s goal is to raise $70,000 – enough to grant the wishes of 11 children with life-threatening medical conditions. Community Announcements
Last fiscal year*, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana granted 863 wishes- the most wishes granted by any Make-A-Wish chapter in the history of the nationwide organization.

Make-A-Wish is one of Toledo’s Best! The Foundation was recognized in the February 8, 2012 issue of the Toledo City Paper. The annual “Best of” issue solicited nominations from the community and Make-A-Wish was selected as the #1 local nonprofit. A public recognition party was held at the Pinnacle in Maumee, OH on Feb. 10th.
