Heather's Wish Comes True

After being diagnosed with a life-threatening blood disorder, Heather was referred to the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® at just four years of age. This spunky, bright, young girl, who loved to sing, dance around the house and play outside, knew exactly what she was going to wish for when she met with volunteers from the foundation: a trip to Walt Disney World^® and the chance to have breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends. In 2001, Heather and her family enjoyed a week-long vacation to Orlando, Florida complete with their own private villa at Give Kids the World^® Resort!
