25th Anniversary Key Messages

• The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana is celebrating 25 years of inspiring lives, one wish at a time. In our milestone year, we need your help to grant a record 800 wishes for children in our community who deserve a wish come true.

• In January of 1984, the local Make-A-Wish chapter granted its first wish. Six-year-old George wished to go to Walt Disney World, starting a long tradition of magical Disney memories. Thanks to the help of many Make-A-Wish supporters, the Foundation has granted the wishes of over 6,000 wishes since that day.

• Currently, there are 767 children in greater Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana waiting for their wishes to be granted. We need your help to make sure these local wishes come true!

• The average value of a wish is $6,000, however, any gift, large or small, will impact a family and create hope, strength and joy during a time when a family in your community needs it most.

• There are many ways you can personally connect to wish families in your neighborhood while raising funds for local children waiting for their magical wish experience. Contact the office nearest you to find out how!
